Bill Ivey was born in 1970 in Galveston, Texas. Raised in Galveston and Houston, he received a BFA from Texas State University and an MFA from SFAI. After teaching at Texas State for a time, he ran The LMNL Space and Projects until 2015, first as an art space and then as a collaborative business project producing custom design work.

Looking For Work is Ivey's first solo exhibition in Austin since 2006.
