In
efforts to give Austin’s artists a flexible space with
which they can experiment with forms of creative expression outside
the standard gallery setting, we have made available our Bay
10 project space. The aim is to have this space available for
as little as one night, or for as long as a month, depending
on the parameters set up by the artist in this application. This
space is intended, but is not limited to visual-related media.
Performance, sound-based, or any kind of multidisciplinary proposals
may be accepted, and we hope to exhibit a wide range of projects
in this space.

PROPOSALS
for using the Project Space:
To apply for the use of the Bay 10 project space, please submit a
concise but detailed proposal of what you are planning, as well as
images of the work you plan on showing. If the work is incomplete,
or if you are proposing a site specific installation that will be
completed in the space, please include sketches or renderings of
what you are planning (and, if applicable, include images of past
projects that may relate to your proposal)
As well, we will need to know how long you are planning on using
the space. If the run of your exhibition is flexible, please
indicate that in your proposal. Please note that if your project
involves
an extensive installation and de-installation period, include
this information in your proposal as well, and make clear what
portion
of your time-frame is for set-up and break-down, and what portion
is for the actual run of the show open to the public. If your
work is video or sound based please include a DVD or CD of the
work. You
can submit by e-mail by putting 'Project Space Proposal' as the
subject
of
your e-mail. Attach images, and links to video or any online media
are preferred.
