Describe your artistic style in three words.
Exploratory, meditative, layered.
What's inspiring you right now?
I visited my family in The Bahamas for the first time in two years (the longest I'd ever been away) a few months ago and I've been drawing from that experience recently.
What do you do when you're feeling uninspired?
If it persists, I sometimes take it as a sign to try something new or take a pause.
Tell us something unique about your process.
I rely on being able to switch between media and back and forth from working in analog forms to digitally in an effort to combat feeling stuck and also to try to keep making no matter where I am.
What advice do you have for other artists?
I'm not saying I have necessarily achieved this but I think it's important to strike a balance between being protective of your practice and also not overly precious with it. It can be scary to share your work but no one will know what you can do if they can't see it.
