Jesus Treviño
Jesus Treviño (b. 1995, Brownsville, Texas) received a BA in Studio Art from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2018, and is currently an MFA candidate in Painting/Drawing from the University of Texas at Austin. He had his first solo exhibition at the Presa House Gallery, San Antonio (2019) and has been included in group exhibitions at the Field Projects Gallery, New York, New York (2021); Carlsbad Museum and Art Center, Carlsbad, New Mexico (2021); Cole Art Center in Nacogdoches, Texas (2022), Rockport Center for the Arts, Rockport, Texas (2021); K Space Contemporary, Corpus Christi, Texas (2020); Brownsville Museum of Fine Arts (2019), where he was awarded Best in Show; and recently he curated a group exhibition titled, "Between Two Worlds" at the Visual Arts Center in Austin, Texas (2020).
