Coffee Chats feature leaders in the creative community sharing their personal and professional experiences to inspire others pursuing careers in art. 

Ann Flemings is an abstract acrylic painter inspired by moods, memories, and the paint combinations on her palette. Using many layers, she works to create exciting light-filled imagery. Her "real" studio is located at the Canopy complex, but for now her spare bedroom is her creative home. Ann was a full time development pro for many years and continues this work part time to fuel her art habit. She loves being part of the Austin art community and is a proud member of the board of Big Medium.

Recent group exhibitions include the 2019 People’s Gallery exhibition at Austin City Hall and The Femme Abstract a juried exhibition during EAST 2018. Ann consistently exhibits during the EAST and WEST Studio Tours and her work is housed within private collections across the United States.  Ann is represented by Artworks Gallery in Austin.
