Our Responsibility to Each Other: Achieving BIPOC Solidarity

In a time when white supremacy insists on distracting us from the real root of racial injustice, we must stand together and recognize our collective pain as well as our collective power. But Black, Indigenous, and communities of color need to reckon with our histories and internalized racism before we can achieve true solidarity.

Six Square's team represents a broad spectrum of diverse identities: Black, Asian, Puerto Rican, female, queer. As a diverse organization, we navigate anti-racism work with our shared trauma and motivation while also honoring the differences in our experiences and communities.

Join Six Square as we discuss the intricacies, challenges, and necessity of BIPOC solidarity.

Creative Standard’s professional development series address topics identified by members of our creative community. These workshops invite experts on various issues to educate artists on best practices and success strategies. To view past workshops, visit our Professional Development archives.
